In 2019 I bought a house and land close to the forest, just a few kilometers away from my childhood house. I found objects burried in my garden : metal tools transformed by rust and time. As I collected and cleaned them, they shifted more and more into enigmatic shapes, or signs, first of a language designed to tell the story of this place that I try to make a home of. I painted the landscapes around me, like souvenirs or even postcards. I pulled the objects and the painting closer together and wondered about how places and homes are pure fictions, result of the infinite telling of individual stories and myths.
